Lynnie was born and raised in beautiful Los Angeles, California and after brief detours to San Francisco, Seoul, and London, ultimately found herself right back where she came from.
While earning her BA in Political Science from UC San Diego, Lynnie enjoyed planning parties and fundraisers for various campaigns and non-profits.
Lynnie returned to California to attend graduate school and earned a law degree and a Master's degree in Dispute Resolution. At heart a planner and in need of a creative outlet, Lynnie began assisting event planners with weddings and private parties.
When she joined an international legal consulting firm working in the business development department, she gravitated towards marketing and event coordination. From trade shows, cocktail receptions, educational seminars and large-scale galas, Lynnie quickly became the point person on all event coordination for the company. Although she loved the team, she realized she wanted to plan events full-time beyond the corporate world. Lynnie followed her heart and opened Button Events in 2011.
Lynnie is a licensed attorney and uses her training in negotiation and attention to detail to carefully plan every event. Having planned events for law firms and corporations throughout her legal career, she is well acquainted with planning professional events on every scale.
When she's not running around planning events, Lynnie enjoys traveling with her husband, reading fiction (i.e. romance novels), and shopping for shoes!
